Onsen Hana - Onsen

Japanese: 温泉華 - おんせんか
Onsen Hana - Onsen
Also called "yu no hana" (flowers). Precipitates from hot spring water. After hot spring water comes to the surface, they are formed due to a drop in temperature and pressure, the loss of contained gases, chemical reactions with air and other substances, the action of bacteria, etc. Examples of these include flowers of sulfur, travertine (calcite or aragonite), siliceous stone (protein stone), sulfates such as gypsum, epidote, and beitolite, limonite (oxidation precipitate of iron bicarbonate), and sulphur (needle-shaped crystals formed by the action of hydrogen sulfide and hot spring clay).
