Nucleohisto

... refers to a complex formed in a cell by the binding of the genetic material DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and its transcription product RNA (ribonucleic acid) with specific proteins, and includes important proteins related to the regulation of genetic information expression. Nucleoprotamine in sperm and nucleohistone in chromosomes are examples of complexes between DNA and the basic proteins protamine and histone, respectively. A typical example of a complex with RNA is the ribosome, which synthesizes proteins.
