[Legend of the founding of Rome]
Proca, the 13th king of Alba Longa after Julus, had two children. The elder brother Numitor was usurped from the throne by his younger brother Amulius. Numitor's son was killed, and his daughter Rhea Silvia was made a Vestal virgin, who was required to maintain her virginity, but she became pregnant by Mars and gave birth to twins.
