Østerdalälv (English spelling) Osterdalalv

The Dala is Sweden's fourth largest river in area. The first 150 km of the river are called the Dala, and the upper reaches are the Vesterdalälv and Østerdalälv, the latter of which originates in the Hedmark region of Norway. It is a major source of hydroelectric power and is also an important timber rafting channel.
