Gray) of the Asteraceae family that grows in dry areas with little rainfall, such as southern North America and Mexico. It has the same cis-1,4 bond polyisoprene structure as natural rubber obtained from the Para rubber tree, and its performance is almost the same. This rubber has a long history, and in the early 20th century, Mexican guayule rubber was used in considerable quantities in the United States. …
