Onassis, Jacqueline Kennedy
Born: July 28, 1929, Southampton, New York
[Died] May 19, 1994, New York Wife of the 35th President of the United States, JFK. After graduating from George Washington University in 1951, she worked as a photographer and columnist for the Washington Times Herald for two years, but married Senator Kennedy from Massachusetts in September 1953. In 1957, she gave birth to their first daughter, Caroline, and was pregnant with their first son, John II, when President Kennedy took office in 1960. After that, she gained popularity at home and abroad as the First Lady with her elegance and fashionable attire. However, after the assassination of the president in Dallas in 1963, her image changed to that of a devoted mother to her son, John. In 1968, she married Greek shipping magnate AS Onassis and moved to Greece, but after Onassis' death in 1975, she returned to New York and worked as an editor for the publishing company Doubleday. After her death in 1994, she was buried next to President Kennedy (at Arlington National Cemetery) according to her will.

Onassis
Onasis, Aristotle Socrates

Born: January 7, 1906 (now January 20) in Smyrna (now Izmir)
[Died] March 15, 1975. Paris. Greek shipping magnate. After the Turkish occupation of Smyrna in 1922, he moved to Buenos Aires alone and worked for a telephone company. He made his fortune importing tobacco, and in 1930 became the Greek Consul General in Argentina. His shipping business began with the purchase of six used ships in 1931. He then took advantage of the Great Depression to purchase a large number of used ships at extremely low prices. When the shipping market recovered, he established a base in the tramp shipping market with a unique management strategy of using Greek sailors at low wages to ship ships registered in flags of convenience, and managing them under the management of the Onassis family. After World War II, he established a shipping company in New York under the American citizenship of his two children, and succeeded in obtaining government loans to purchase American state-owned ships and build tankers, thereby becoming a major shipping magnate. He also attracted attention for his romance with singer M. Callas and his marriage to Jacqueline Kennedy (wife of President Kennedy) (1968).
