Ribonucleotide

...A nucleoside is a molecule that is bound to a base and a sugar by an N -glycosidic bond, and a nucleotide is a molecule that is bound to the sugar by an ester bond. The base is a purine or pyrimidine base, and the sugar is called a ribonucleotide, while the sugar is called a deoxyribonucleotide. These polymerize to form RNA, and DNA.
