Eau de Cologne (English spelling) French

In the narrow sense, it is the name of a classic lotion. Aqua Mirabilis (miraculous water), a medicinal water that originated in Italy around the 17th century, was brought to Cologne, the capital of Prussia, where it was improved and perfected as Kölnischwasser (Cologne water). It was introduced to France in the late 18th century, where it became famous under the name Eau de Cologne or Eau de Cologne, and spread throughout Europe. Classic Eau de Cologne is made by mixing essential oils extracted from the leaves, flowers, and peels of the Lamiaceae and Rutaceae families according to a secret recipe, and using alcohol from grape wine. Recently, the term "Eau de Cologne" has come to refer to a type of fragrance product that is easy to use and has a wide range of uses, with a fragrance content of 3 to 5%, with a top note that suppresses the last note of the perfume and a refreshing citrus (citrus fruits such as lemon and lime) or green scent.
