A meteorite that fell in Allende, Mexico (Chihuahua state) in February 1969. It is the largest stony meteorite ever recovered. Radioisotope dating indicates that it is one of the oldest materials in the solar system, and some of its isotopic composition differs from that of materials on Earth and the Moon.
