Sasamorpha borealis (English spelling) Sasamorphaborealis

...It is short, and has no shoulder hairs on the leaves or bark. Sasamorpha borealis (Hack.) Nakai has a straight culm with one branch emerging from each node at the top, and the leaf sheaths are purple. It grows to a height of less than 2m, and looks like a small Yatake.
