Sciaphila tosaensis (English spelling) Sciaphilatosaensis

...It is distributed from the Kanto region to Okinawa, but is seen rather rarely. Sciaphila tosaensis Makino has no appendages on the anther spacing of the male flowers, and the perianth lobes are thin and linear. The Japanese name is named after its discoverer, Eijiro Uematsu.
