Seraphim

...In the vision of the prophet Ezekiel, they appeared as four faces, a lion, a bull, and an eagle, four wings, and four rotating wheels with golden eyes (Ezekiel 10). The prophet Isaiah also saw the Seraphim, who had six wings, two of which covered his face and two of which covered his feet, and the remaining two of which flew and protected God's throne (Isaiah 6). Unlike other angels who had human form and the role of messengers of God, these two mysterious angels who flew with lightning-like flashes are thought to have originated from the ancient Babylonian personification of lightning flashes.
