...In the later Umayyad Dynasty, it was divided into a large shurta for officials and officers and a small shurta for ordinary citizens. In the Abbasid Dynasty, the word shiḥna began to be used instead of shurta from the first half of the 10th century, and it was also called ma'ūna in the provinces. [Hanada Uaki].
