Shovelnose

…A general term for marine fish belonging to the Rhinobatidae family, or one of these. This species is called guitarfish because of its guitar-like body shape, or shovelnose because of its shovel-like shape. There are 45 species of Rhinobatidae in the world, and five species in the waters off Japan: the common Rhinobatidae, the common Rhinobatidae, the Taiwanese Rhinobatidae, the slit-nosed Rhinobatidae, and the pointy Rhinobatidae. The common Rhinobatidae and the common Rhinobatidae are the most commonly seen.
