Softcover book (English)

...A light-weight book with a paper cover. It is also called a softcover book. It is named in contrast to hardcover books and clothbound books, but its characteristics are large quantity and low cost, as it is said that "it is never published in less than tens of thousands of copies, and the price of one copy rarely exceeds the equivalent of one hour's labor" (R. Escarpi).
