Toddy palm

...It is weak to cold. Among them, the toddy palm C. urens L. (English names: wine palm, toddy palm) is famous for making sugar and alcohol from the juice of its flower stalks, and for extracting sago starch from its trunk. The fibers extracted from its leaf sheaths are used to make fishing nets and ropes, the young leaves are used as vegetables, the leaves are used as livestock feed, and the trunk is used for shipbuilding.
