... The history of the establishment of child psychology includes JJ Rousseau's "Discovery of the Child" and his advocacy of education in accordance with children's nature. D. Tiedemann's 1787 child observation record "Observations on the Development of the Mental Abilities in Children" is said to be the first document of child psychology, and it was strongly influenced by these ideas. However, it was not until W. Preyer's "The Mind of the Child" (1882) was published that child psychology took on the form of a modern science. ...
