The pink-headed duck Rhodonessa caryophyllacea has not been seen since 1939, last seen in India. The Labrador duck Camptorhynchus labradorius has not been seen since 1875. The crested shelduck Tadorna cristata was seen in 1965, but only three specimens from before that date remain.
