Among them, the Cubofutists, under the banner of total denial of past cultural heritage, aimed to create truly independent art, and published many collections of poems such as "The Judge's Breeding Farm" (1910) and "A Slap in the Face of Society's Taste" (1912) in solidarity with contemporary avant-garde painters such as MF Larionov and KS Malevich. Their works, based on the methodological analogy between poetry and painting, are full of experimentalism such as ignoring syntax and grammar, using neologisms and zaum' (super-semantic language), and using techniques of alienation and displacement. The content of their works also varies widely, from the urban poetry with its strong lyricism of early Mayakovsky to the phonetic poetry of Aleksei Eliseevich Kruchyonykh (1886-1968) and the pastoral poetry of Khlebnikov, which sings of longing for ancient society and Slavic paganism. From the beginning, Cubism denied any influence from Italian Futurism, strongly asserted its own superiority, and consistently adopted an anti-war stance.
