Khalij al-'Arabī (English spelling)

…the gulf between the Iranian plateau and the Arabian Peninsula. In Arabic it is called Baḥr al‐Fāris or Khalij al‐'Arabī (meaning 'Gulf of Arabia'), and in Persian it is called Khalij‐e Fars. At present, the Gulf is home to the Arab nations of Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
