Janna

Janna

… [Tanaka Awa]
[Islam]
In the Islamic world, the term bustan (meaning "fragrant place"), derived from the Persian language, has been widely used to refer to gardens, but this word can also refer to vegetable gardens or orchards. There are many words that refer to gardens, such as janna, firdaus, rauḍa, bāgh, and ḥadīqa, which also mean paradise. Most of the countries in Western Asia and North Africa, which are the centers of the Islamic world, are located in arid regions, and settlements are surrounded by barren desert or wilderness.

From Heaven

In particular, the issue of the representation of paradise in the New Testament and its interpretation (demythologization), proposed by the German theologian R. Bultmann, became a major theme among biblical scholars and attracted much attention as a debate over the reinterpretation of ancient cosmology colored by mythological representations. [Islam]
In the Quran, heaven is generally called "paradise" (janna), but it is also called "Garden of Eden" (janna 'adn), "Eden" (firdaws), or "Garden of the Final Residence" (janna al-ma'wā). It refers to the paradise in which those who have believed and done good deeds in this world are allowed to live as a reward.
