…It is thought that the Stegosaurus and Ankylosauria differentiated in the Triassic, but this is unclear. The main species were Fabrosaurus , Hypsilophodon , and Iguanodonts, and in the Cretaceous, a large number of duckbills, ceratopsians, and pachycephalosaurs radiated adaptively. The Sauropods also differentiated in response (Figure).
