Hot Discographie

...Although a simple record list may be called this, a proper discography must include all the information about a musician's recordings, such as the titles of the songs, the dates, and the locations, the musicians and their respective instruments, and the record numbers released. The term was first established in this sense by Charles Delaunay's Hot Discographie, published in Paris in 1936. Since then, many discographies have been published, especially those for jazz records, and have served as an indispensable guide for jazz lovers.
