Grønland (English spelling)

The Danish word for the island is Grønland, which means "Grønland" in Danish. It borders the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Greenland Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean to the east, and Baffin Bay and several straits to the west, separating it from the islands of the Canadian Arctic.
