Gloger's rule

For example, birds and mammals that live in warm, humid climates tend to be darker in color than those that live in cool, dry climates. This phenomenon is called Gloger's rule. Similarly, birds and mammals that live in cool climates tend to be larger than those that live in warm climates. This phenomenon is called Bergmann's rule.
