[Fluorescein angiography]
A special fundus camera imaging method that uses sodium fluorescein solution as a contrast agent to perform a precise contrast examination of the fundus blood vessels (retina and some choroidal blood vessels) by utilizing the optical properties of fluorescence. When fluorescein solution is injected intravenously, it mixes with the blood and circulates through the intraocular blood vessels, producing various findings depending on the pathological condition.
