His posthumous name was Wenmu. He graduated from the Jinshi Jia Department and was promoted to Hanlin Scholar, Assistant Politician, Zai Zhengdian Scholar, and Zhaowenguan University Scholar. He was awarded the title of Grand Master and Secretary. He compiled the Zhaofu Yuangui.
