Enburi

Japanese: 朳 - えんぶり
Enburi
〘Noun〙① Mainly in the Tohoku region, it means "Eburi (朳)". ② In the vicinity of Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, in early spring, now it is performed for three or four days in a row from February 17th to celebrate a good harvest. Each group is made up of about 30 people, and the group in charge of the year visits the former feudal lord's residence, while the other groups go from house to house to perform the dance. 《Season・New Year》
