Eros
(Erōs)⸨Eros⸩[1][1] Greek god of love. Son of Aphrodite and Ares. His whims and mischief caused trouble to many humans and gods. He was the youngest of the gods, and was later depicted as a child. In Roman mythology, he was Cupid. [2] (Eros) The 433rd asteroid. It has an elliptical orbit between Mars and Jupiter, and was known as the asteroid closest to the Earth when it was discovered, and was often used to measure the average distance to the Sun. The impulse to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty, halfway between achievement and lack. → agape. ② (Sexual) love (for the opposite sex). → agape. *A man named Takezawa Sensei (1924-25) (Nagayo Yoshiro) Takezawa Sensei and his brothers "The fundamental condition for giving a woman her happiness is a man's love, or eros."
