Wenker (1852-1911) and was established by the French J. Gillieron. Symbolic of this is the 35 volumes and supplements of the Atlas linguistique de la France (1902-09, 14, 20), co-authored by Gillieron and his assistant Edmond E. Edmont (1854-1926). …
