Case method

...These methods had been adopted by large companies by around 1955. The second period lasted until around 1960, when the above-mentioned "standardized training" (trainers provide instruction based on a standard method for training content and progress) was criticized as being too formal and based on principles, and not practical. Case methods were introduced as a training technique that could acquire skills for practical situations. These include the Harvard method, which uses huge amounts of data, and the case study and incident process methods, which deal with small incidents that occur daily.
