Emukae [town] - Emukae
An old town in the northwest of the Kita Matsuura Peninsula, Kita Matsuura District, Nagasaki Prefecture. Developed as a mining town in the Sasebo coalfields, the town is centered around Senryu, upstream of the Emukae River, and Emukae Port, which faces Emukae Bay, and is served by the Matsuura Railway. After the coal mine closed, a machine factory was established here. In March 2010, it was incorporated into Shikamachi Town, Kita Matsuura District, and Sasebo City. 32.07 km2 . 5,922 people (2005).

長崎県北松浦郡，北松浦半島北西部の旧町。佐世保炭田の炭鉱町として発達，江迎川上流の潜竜，江迎湾に面する江迎港を中心に集落があり松浦鉄道が通じる。炭鉱の閉山により，機械工場が立地。2010年３月北松浦郡鹿町町と佐世保市へ編入。32.07km2。5922人（2005）。
