Behistan

…A village located 32 km east of Kermanshah in western Iran. Its name comes from the ancient name of the mountain that rises to the north, Bagastana (meaning "seat of the god"), and it is also called Behistan or Bihistūn. The famous inscription of Darius I is carved into a steep rock face at a height of about 70 m, and at the foot of the mountain are remains of a Paleolithic cave, a ritual site and a fortress thought to be from the Median period, a statue of Hercules from the Seleucid period, and reliefs of the Parthian kings Mithridates II and Gotharzes II. …
