Edward the Confessor - Edward
The last king of England from the House of Wessex (reigned 1042-1066). He grew up in Normandy, France, and returned to England to take the throne after the death of the Danish dynasty. Although he was a devout man, he was politically incompetent, causing chaos in the country and leading to the Norman Conquest after his death.
