Siberian Husky (species)

Japanese: シベリアン・ハスキー[種](英語表記)Siberian Husky
Siberian Husky (species)
A sled dog native to Siberia. Husky is a general term for sled dogs, and for centuries the indigenous Chukchi people of northern Siberia have treasured them as sled dogs, hunting dogs, guard dogs, and playmates for children and infants, and as members of the family. They have a fox-like face with slanted eyes and a somewhat stern expression, but they have a gentle, cheerful, and family-oriented personality. The outer coat is somewhat coarse, but the undercoat is soft and dense like cotton. There are no particular restrictions on coat color or markings, but most are gray, and some have black and white markings.
