Aton

…Ancient Egyptian sun god. Also called Aton. Originally it referred to the sun (sun disk) itself as a celestial body, but in the New Kingdom period it was deified as one of the sun gods, and in the religious reforms of Akhenaten it was made the sole and absolute god who created the universe, maintained its order, and bestowed life on all things.
