Japanese: 越史通鑑綱目 - えつしつがんこうもく

A chronological general history of Vietnam compiled by imperial order of Emperor Tu Duc of the Nguyen Dynasty. It was compiled between 1856 and 1859 by the National History Institute, headed by Phan Thanh Giang, and after undergoing censorship from 1871 to 1884, it was presented and printed in the first year of the reign of Emperor Kien Phuoc (1884). It is one of the most important general histories written in Chinese by a Vietnamese person. Its full title is the Imperial Compendium of the History of Vietnam. It divides the historical facts conveyed in the Complete Collection of History of Vietnam and other sources into detailed sections, with a section that gives the gist of the events listed under the title and a section that describes them in detail, modeled after the Chinese Zizhi Tongjian Gangmu.

ベトナムのグエン(阮)朝トゥドゥック(嗣徳)帝の勅命によって編纂された編年体のベトナム通史。1856年より59年の間にファン･タイン･ザン(潘清簡)を総裁とする国史館によって編纂され，71‐84年の検閲を経てキエンフク(建福)帝の元年(1884)に進呈，版刻された。ベトナム人によって漢文で書かれた最も重要な通史の一つ。正称は《欽定越史通鑑綱目》。《大越史記全書》等によって伝えられている史実を細かく段に分け，標題に掲げて大意を述べた綱と，これを細かく叙述した目とを置き，中国の《資治通鑑綱目》にならった体裁をとっている。
