Alleanza del Lavoro

...The People's Sturmabteilung was an autonomous organization that arose among the people, and was the first example of an organized anti-fascist movement. Later, while Fascism continued to conquer local cities individually, anti-fascist movements were carried out in each region, centered around the Chamber of Labor, and in February 1922, the Labor Alliance Alleanza del Lavoro was formed as a national anti-fascist organization made up of labor organizations. In the summer of the same year, the Labor Alliance fought against Fascism with a general strike, but was attacked by the Fascists and failed, becoming powerless.
