On the other hand, the influence of decision theory, which began with CI Barnard and was developed by HA Simon, is also evident. In other words, this theory presents a view of human beings that is not reconciled with either the hyper-rationality of economic man or the emotionality of human relations theory - a view of human beings that not only reacts emotionally, but also has real limitations in their ability to gather information and calculate future outcomes, and that finds the basic characteristics of an administrative man in the choice of alternatives that are deemed rationally satisfactory within those limitations, i.e., making decisions. And it is for this very reason that people choose to collaborate with others and join organizations in order to improve the limits of their own rationality.
