In Greek mythology, she is an echo-female spirit. She was originally a forest nymph, but her talkativeness angered Hera, who made her unable to speak of her own, only repeating what others said. As a result, she fell in love with the handsome man Narcissus, but was abandoned without being able to tell him anything about her feelings. She became so emaciated from grief that she eventually became nothing more than a voice without a body.

Project Echo

A balloon-type artificial satellite launched by the United States in 1960 and 1964. A plastic balloon covered with a thin aluminum film was folded and launched, and once in orbit it was inflated to reflect ultra-high frequency waves emitted from the ground. It was used for passive communications experiments.
