The last and most outstanding court poet (Pejanga) of the Surakarta royal family, a descendant of the Mataram Islamic dynasty in Indonesia. Born in the royal capital of Surakarta, to the court poets Yosodipuro I and II, Yosodipuro studied Javanese mysticism (Kebatinan) and Arabic literature at the Islamic academy (Pesantren) in Ponorogo, Tegalsari and Demak, and then devoted himself to the study of Kawi literature (Old Javanese literature) in Kediri. In 1844, he was appointed court poet of the Surakarta royal family.

インドネシア，マタラム･イスラム王朝の末裔であるスラカルタ王家最後の，そして最も優れた宮廷詩人(プジャンガ)。王都スラカルタに，宮廷詩人ヨソディプロ1世，同2世を祖父，父として生まれ，ポノロゴのイスラム塾(プサントレン)やテガルサリおよびデマックでジャワ神秘主義(クバティナン)とアラブ文学について修養を積んだ後，クディリでカウィ文学(古ジャワ文学)の研究に専念した。1844年スラカルタ王家の宮廷詩人に任じられた。
