1717‐95 A Chinese scholar in the mid-Qing Dynasty. His pen name was Shaogyong, and his pen names were Kigiyo, Keizai, and Gongfu. His library was called Baojingtang. He was a famous family of Qing dynasty scholars. He was a Jinshi in the 17th year of the Qianlong era (1752). He became a tutor at the Hanlin Academy, retired from his position in Hunan Education and Politics, and died at Longcheng Academy in Changzhou. He was friends with Dai Zhen in the capital, and in the 20 years since he returned home he has proofread countless works, including the Great Dai Li and Commentaries on the Classics, as well as collecting omitted works from the Five Classics Zhengyi Table and other works to create the Supplementary Collection of Gunshu.
