This is the official journal of the labor organization Yuaikai during the Taisho period. It was launched in November 1914 as a monthly magazine, succeeding the Yuai Shinpo (first published in November 1912). The Yuai Shinpo was personally edited by chairman Suzuki Bunji, but as the Yuaikai grew, Nosaka Sanzo, Kurume Kozo and others joined the magazine, and the editorial structure was strengthened. In addition to introducing domestic and international labor-farmer movements and current affairs commentary, it also contains many letters from labor members. It also contains records of activities at the headquarters and local federations, and a list of new members. By 1917, circulation had reached nearly 30,000 copies.
