The Canon of Akbar (English: Ā'ini‐Akbarī)

Japanese: アクバル会典 - アクバルかいてん（英語表記）Ā‘īni‐Akbarī

A collection of statutes and other documents from the Mughal Empire and the reign of Akbar. It was originally compiled as the third volume of the Akbar-Namah (The Life of Akbar). It was compiled by the same Abu'l Fazl who compiled the Akbar-Nama, but the contents cover a wide range of subjects, including court ceremonies during the Akbar era, the bureaucratic system, military, and tax systems of the central Mughal government, and more. It also contains descriptions of Sufi sects, Hindu philosophy and customs, and the sayings and deeds of Emperor Akbar.
