Japanese: 麗気記 - れいきき

A representative work of Ryobu Shinto theory. It has 18 volumes. There are various theories as to the author, including Prince Shotoku, En no Gyoja, Kobo Daishi, Dengyo Daishi, and Emperor Daigo, and there is also a theory that Emperor Daigo organized it into 18 volumes. However, the "Toyouke Daijingu Supplement" at the end of the volume is originally unrelated to the "Reikiki" and was added during the Edo period, but since this supplement is credited to Kukai, the entire book has generally been believed to have been written by Kukai. As this work is quoted in the "Ruijū Jingi Hongen," which was compiled in 1320 (Genō 2), it is believed to have been compiled in the 40 years between Kōan (1278-88) and Genō.

両部神道理論を代表する書。18巻。作者には聖徳太子，役行者，弘法大師，伝教大師，醍醐天皇の諸説あり，18巻に編成したのは醍醐天皇との説もある。ただし巻末の〈豊受大神宮継文〉は本来《麗気記》とは無関係で，江戸時代に添加されたが，この継文に空海撰とあったことから本書全体が空海作と一般に伝えられた。本書は1320年(元応2)に成立の《類聚神祇本源》に引用されているところから，弘安(1278‐88)より元応に至る40年間の間に成立したものとされている。
