Ryojin Hisho Oral Tradition Collection - Ryojin Hisho Kudenshu

Japanese: 梁塵秘抄口伝集 - りょうじんひしょうくでんしゅう

Written by Emperor Goshirakawa. Only a fragment of volume 1 and volume 10 remain. The original 10 volumes may account for half of the 20 volumes of the Ryojin Hisho. Volumes 1 to 9 were completed by mid-March 1169 (Kao 1), and were completed after 1179-80 (Jisho 3-4). Volume 1 describes the origins and history of Kagura, Saibara, and customs, but ends with a section describing the origin of the Imayo style of poetry, and is missing the rest of the text. It may be a sample like volume 1 of the Ryojin Hisho.

後白河法皇の著。現存のものは巻一断簡と巻十のみ。もと10巻で《梁塵秘抄》20巻のうちの半分を占めるか。1169年(嘉応1)3月中旬ころまでに巻一から巻九までが成り，その後年月を経て1179‐80年(治承3‐4)以降成立。巻一は神楽，催馬楽（さいばら），風俗（ふぞく）の起りや沿革などを述べ，それ以外の歌として〈今様〉を記しその起源を述べる部分で切れ，以下を欠く。《梁塵秘抄》巻一と同じく見本的なものか。
