Reader - Rito

Japanese: 吏読 - りとう
Reader - Rito
In Korea, this refers to a special use of Chinese characters, mainly used to write particles, auxiliary verbs, and other parts that correspond to okurigana. It is also written as "Rito" or "Rido". It is similar to the Japanese calligraphy of missions, and was created as a result of an attempt to write everything in Chinese characters in ancient Korea, which did not yet have its own writing system. It began in the epigraphy of the Three Kingdoms period and was used until the end of the 19th century. Some use sounds and some use kun readings, and some readings have yet to be clarified. The "ri" in "Ridoku" comes from its use in official documents. The "to" in "Rito" means okurigana. An abbreviated form of a Chinese character similar to katakana was often used for "to". It is thought that this use of Chinese characters also influenced the writing of ancient Japanese.
