Eiki

A haiku poet from the end of the Edo period and the Meiji period. His real name was Hozumi Yoshiyuki. He was also known by the pseudonym Rosodo . He became the seventh Kikakudo after his father, the sixth Kikakudo Sokan . He traveled all over the country and was known to have a thousand disciples. He wrote "Kareobana". 幕末、明治時代の俳人。本名、穂積善之。別号老鼠(ろうそ)堂など。父六世其角堂鼠肝(そかん)の後をうけて七世其角堂となる。全国を行脚し門人千人と称された。著「枯尾花」。文政六～明治三七年（一八二三‐一九〇四）
