Located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, this tower has been designated a national treasure. It was built in 970 to calm the high tides of the Qiantang River and serve as a lighthouse. The tower appears to have 13 floors on the outside, but has only seven inside, and you can climb to the top floor via a spiral staircase.
