Fulminic acid (English spelling)

It is an isomer of cyanic acid HOCN. Its chemical formula is HONC and its formula weight is 43.0. Mercury salts and silver salts have been known for a long time. If the salt is decomposed with a strong acid, the free acid is obtained as an aqueous solution, but it is extremely unstable and polymerizes quickly. It is difficult to obtain a pure form. It smells like hydrogen cyanide and is toxic. Silver salts and mercury salts explode violently when heated, impacted, or rubbed.

シアン酸HOCNの異性体の一つ。化学式HONC、式量43.0。水銀塩や銀塩は古くから知られている。塩を強酸で分解すれば水溶液として遊離の酸が得られるが、きわめて不安定で、すぐに重合する。純粋なものは得られにくい。シアン化水素のようなにおいがして有毒。銀塩、水銀塩などが加熱、衝撃、摩擦などによって激しく爆発する。
